Being at Target for over 11 years, I had the unique opportunity to not only grow with the company, but help lead the start of it’s digital transformation. The Target brand necessitated a constant push to evolve and innovate in the digital space - engaging and immersive experiences were a must! Over the years, by leadership in digital experiences and campaigns grew to lead teams and ultimately a long term digital experience transformation vision. Along with, and based on my leadership with the experience vision, I moved into traditional marketing to help lead, direct and evangelize a digital transformation, responsible for creation of and connecting broadcast, store signage, print and digital.

The Home Depot
Rich Experiences + Omnichannel Extension

My time at The Home Depot aligned with digital growth and ecommerce emergence that required exceptional design to help drive growth. I re-built and led the user experience to team to replatform the core, from navigation, to search, product detail pages and everything in between, helping drive multiyear growth over 30% for multiple years. Building upon the .com growth, I led the team to design top rated mobile experiences that grew accolades form google and customers alike. Rounding out the digital transformation, we branched into bridging the physical and digital gap with immersive in store experiences to connect and aid the customer wherever and whenever they needed help.

Co-creation + Guided Innovation

Utilizing my strong background in research and voice of customer, I evolved and drove process to gain deeper insights and co-create solutions with customers and business partners. This approach resulted in strongly defined, and customer informed, problems to solve and allowed the team to explore new avenues of solutioning that lead to many innovations across the customer’s digital journey. I led teams that reinvented the app and the .com experience to expand the financial guidance and everyday integration into customers lives with personal insights, financial guidance and expanded voice control.

Maturing Design to Drive Growth

My time at State Farm has been about growing and maturing the experience design team. From process, data and customer obsession to strong design principles, I’ve been able to enrich the teams through inspiration, guidance and mentorship. These advances have boosted team moral, seen idea and solution growth and have driven double digital growth in quoting and purchase of core insurance products. Stanford D School trained design thinking leader who has built and led design thinking teams to grow customer obsession and co-creation as part of the creative process.  

My experience with top brick and mortar retailers and strong service based companies has led me to drive innovation with the connection of multiple channels along the customer journey.

Working with top brands, I've lead digital and traditional campaigns, as well as product design innovation that is rooted in strong design principles and execution to drive change.
